Doors Open Toronto 2006.

It is a tradition which repeats religiously every year ... good, perhaps there are many people who do the same - and here we are - all together waiting patiently in lines to enter into the history hidden in these building which open their doors to the public, and to read for ourselves the history hidden in their walls.

Attached are some photos of the North Tower of the CIBC Bank. The main entrance is a piece of art, and I don't know how to describe the board room with pieces of furniture created by artisans who left their indelible mark ... but what impressed me the most was the immense vault.

When they modernized the installations, they removed the built-in strong boxes, and behind them was written with is own hand the name of the engineer who had headed up the original project, and in addition there was a diagram with specifications, which I liked a lot.
