Why are the honeybees disappearing?

I took this photo last Summer, and it was the firts time an erratic bee allowed me to take a close-up picture.

  • Later I found out the humble honeybees are disappearing around the world. There isn't yet an explanation of why these is happening.
  • I read in a blog that 60 - 70% of all honeybee colonies no longer contain bees.
  • This is a mystery that can affect the fruits, vegetables, etc that we comsume every day, because without birds, and bees and wind, etc there is no pollination, this is very serious, and we are running out of time because Spring is here.
